64-channel headstage for the ONIX acquisition system.

Can be used to record with most passive probes (e.g. tetrodes, silicon probe arrays, tungsten microwires, steel EEG wires, etc) using a mating connector or adapter. For tetrode recordings, we recommend the ShuttleDrive and ShuttleDrive 64-ch Hirose EIB.

The low profile greatly reduces torque, minimizing the impact of the headstage on animals and promoting naturalistic behavior.

Key aspects:

• 1.5 g and flat, round, low-torque design

• Fully compatible with ONIX

• 64 analog ephys channels and 3 auxiliary channels sampled at 30 kHz per channel

• BNO055 9-axis IMU for real-time, 3D orientation tracking for torque-free commutation

• Four TS4231 light to digital converters for real-time, 3D positional tracking using 3D tracking lighthouses

• An electrical stimulator (current controlled, +/-15V compliance, automatic electrode discharge)

• Two optical stimulators (800 mA per channel)

• 1 Low-Profile ONIX Headstage 64ch

• 1 micro-coax tether (X.FL to SMA) 8.2 ft (2.5 m)
