The MiniCAM is an open-source behavioural camera for imaging animal movement and behaviour during experiments.

The MiniCAM is connected to a Miniscope DAQ via a single coaxial cable, which provides both power and data transfer. Please note the Sync Out and Trigger In functionalities of the Miniscope DAQ are only enabled for use in Bonsai, and not in the Miniscope’s own software.

The MiniCAM runs at 50fps with 1024X768 by default in the Miniscope software, this can be adjusted in this software and in Bonsai, and both can be used to acquire from multiple MiniCAMs or Miniscopes.

  • 1x M12 lens holder

  • 1x 3D plastic holder
